Carli Segal, M.Phil.Ed. & M.S.Ed., is a Certified Professional School Counselor who truly loves what she does. Her goal in creating Career Services by Carli Counsels is to assist job seekers and college/graduate school hopefuls in perfecting their cover letters, resumes, and essays to increase their chances of landing that perfect job or school admission. It IS true what they say: Find something you love, and you'll never work a day in your life!
Carli earned her undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and two counseling-related Master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She has experience counseling people of all ages in a school or college setting. As a school counselor, Carli taught numerous high school students about the art of resume and cover letter writing. Carli also spent two years counseling college students as a Student Planning Counselor, where she not only edited hundreds of cover letters, resumes, and college/grad school admission essays, but she also engaged students in mock interviews and presented resume and cover letter workshops to classrooms.
Carli's creative writing skills, combined with her anal-retentiveness for grammar (she knew it would come in handy someday!) and sharp eye for detail prove her to be an excellent resource in this challenging and competitive job market and flooded college/grad school applicant pools. Carli is also a life long learner, dedicated to staying current on the latest cover letter, resume, and admission essay trends to ensure that your documents will be up-to-date!
